Never Hide

So last week me and my house mate went to Ray-Bans 75th Anniversary Party, in Islington.

We didn't manage to get any free shades but we did get goody bags and sat in a taxi dressed up.

That was a laugh

We saw Primal Scream with Kim Gordon once of Sonic Youth play, I really like Bobby G, I wangled an autograph and a friendly man hug a few months ago after he brought a suit off me at work. (we own the same suit)

"get your rocks off"
Bobby was going for it, I wouldn't of expected anything less. Despite it being my first time going to one of their gigs; it was easy to see why there known for being a great live band. (if a band isn't good live they can fuck right off)
I feel that sometimes when seeing a band like that, they might tone down a little but Bobby did they opposite and I'm really happy to say I went. Kim Gordon was as cool as ever and when she came out on the encore they performed two songs by The Stooges, "No Fun" and "I Wanna Be Your Dog". They did another song of their own and I can't quite remember what it was as I was amongst a friendly crowd that really wanted to get involved.

The event was hosted by Dazed and Confused so in the goody bag we got a free magazine yet little free booze. (I'm just being picky.)

All in all it was banger of a night and I'd happily serve Bobby again.

Peace x
